En mi caso, us\u00e9 aceite vegetal porque era el \u00fanico que ten\u00eda y aun as\u00ed el arroz queda rico. Pero el aceite de oliva le dar\u00e1 un sabor muy distintivo a la paella. As\u00ed que, si tienes, \u00fasalo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Carne-<\/strong> Yo uso caderas de pollo con hueso y piel. Si tienes conejo, usa mitad de carne de conejo y mitad de pollo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Condimentos-<\/strong> Solo necesitas sal y paprika o <em>piment\u00f3n<\/em>. El piment\u00f3n le da sabor y color.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jud\u00edas verdes-<\/strong> Las jud\u00edas verdes las puedes conseguir frescas o congeladas. Puede que te cueste encontrarlas, as\u00ed que cualquier cosa similar servir\u00e1. Yo us\u00e9 snow peas, pero tambi\u00e9n puedes usar cualquier tipo de habichuelas verdes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tomate-<\/strong> Yo us\u00e9 tomates Roma. Cualquier tomate fresco te servir\u00e1. Aunque no es tradicional, puedes sustituir tomate fresco por la pasta de tomate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Arroz-<\/strong> Yo us\u00e9 arroz bomba. Este es el mejor arroz para hacer paella. Puedes usar otros arroces de grano corto como el arborio (arroz para risotto), pero no tendr\u00e1n la misma consistencia que la paella.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Garrof\u00f3n o jud\u00edas blancas- <\/strong>El garrof\u00f3n es un tipo especial de jud\u00eda blanca espa\u00f1ola. Como no estoy en Espa\u00f1a, us\u00e9 jud\u00edas blancas de lata. Corta las jud\u00edas verdes o cualquier tipo de habichuela verde que encuentres. Si no son demasiado largas , c\u00f3rtalas por la mitad. Si las tuyas son m\u00e1s largas, c\u00f3rtalas en tres trozos. Agrega un poco de agua al azafr\u00e1n para que se infusione.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 2:<\/strong> Ralla el tomate. Yo us\u00e9 un rallador de caja y us\u00e9 el lado m\u00e1s grande para que los tomates quedaran m\u00e1s gruesos. Luego, corta cada cadera en 4 trozos. No cortes el pollo tan peque\u00f1o que se queme. Pero tampoco lo cortes demasiado grande, ya que tardar\u00e1 m\u00e1s en cocinarse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 4: <\/strong>En una paellera o sart\u00e9n grande, pon el aceite a fuego medio-alto. Espera a que el aceite se caliente para que el pollo se selle bien, luego a\u00f1ade el pollo y cocina durante 15 minutos. Espolvorea un poco de sal alrededor de la sart\u00e9n y un poco por encima del pollo. Sofr\u00ede para reducir el l\u00edquido del tomate. Revuelve mientras se cocine para que no se pegue al fondo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 6:<\/strong> Agrega las jud\u00edas verdes y la mitad del agua. La l\u00ednea donde termina el agua es importante, ya que a\u00f1adir\u00e1s el arroz cuando el agua se haya evaporado hasta esta l\u00ednea. Coloca el romero en el centro y cocina la paella durante 12 minutos. La mayor parte del agua deber\u00eda haberse evaporado; si no, cocina hasta que no quede agua.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 8:<\/strong> Retira el romero y pon el fuego a medio. As\u00ed que, siempre que no mezcles marisco con otras carnes ni le pongas chorizo, \u00a1no hay problema!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Si nunca has hecho paella porque no ten\u00edas paella (el sart\u00e9n de la paella tambi\u00e9n se le llama paella, no paellera), no te preocupes. Puedes hacerla sin la paella.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Si usas la paellera tradicional en una estufa normal, aseg\u00farate de girarla mientras cocinas.
