Probablemente sea porque te topaste con una receta que requiere esta super hierba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se conoce cient\u00edficamente como Eryngium foetidum pero com\u00fanmente se encuentra como Culantro. En Puerto Rico lo llamamos<em> recao<\/em>, en Brasil se le conoce como <em>chic\u00f3ria do Par\u00e1<\/em> y en Trinidad y Tobago se le conoce como <em>Chado Beni<\/em>. Recao o culantro es una hoja larga y delgada que tiene un borde dentado. De color verde y de sabor muy fuerte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Culantro es originario de Am\u00e9rica Latina y Asia, donde est\u00e1 ampliamente disponible y se utiliza en muchas de sus recetas.<\/p>\n\n\n[feast_advanced_jump_to]\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 id=\"a-que-sabe-el-recao\"   class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfA qu\u00e9 sabe el Recao?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando est\u00e1 cruda, esta es una hierba muy arom\u00e1tica y de sabor fuerte, por lo que generalmente se cocina antes de consumirla. Por otro lado, cuando se cocina tiene un sabor a hierbas, y un poco a lim\u00f3n suave, que simplemente mejora cualquier plato.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 id=\"como-utilizar-recao\"   class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfC\u00f3mo utilizar Recao?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El recao se puede utilizar en casi cualquier plato salado y de muchas maneras. En Puerto Rico, el recao es uno de los ingredientes principales en el <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/sofrito\/\">sofrito base de la cocina puertorrique\u00f1a<\/a>. Me gusta agregarlo a todas mis recetas de arroz siempre que lo tengo disponible. Queda especialmente rico en mi <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/arroz-con-habichuelas\/\">arroz puertorrique\u00f1o guisado con habichuelas<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n puedes agregarlo a sopas, guisos e incluso alimentos fritos como el <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/bacalaitos\/\">bacalao puertorrique\u00f1o<\/a>. Recao es una hoja verde entera y larga, mientras que el cilantro parece 3 hojitas en una y adem\u00e1s tendr\u00e1 m\u00faltiples racimos de hojas en un tallo. En cuanto al sabor, se diferencian en que el cilantro tiene un sabor m\u00e1s suave cuando est\u00e1 crudo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"donde-comprar-culantro\"   class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u00bfD\u00f3nde comprar culantro?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Puede que sea dif\u00edcil conseguir un mont\u00f3n de Recao. Si vives en una regi\u00f3n donde crece, podr\u00e1s encontrarla f\u00e1cilmente en tu mercado local. Cuando vives en una zona donde el recao no crece, lo mejor que puedes hacer es un supermercado latino o asi\u00e1tico. Pero debes recordar que el Recao es m\u00e1s fuerte por lo que necesitar\u00e1s un poco m\u00e1s de cilantro para lograr un sabor fuerte similar.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1713366465511\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">\u00bfComo almacenar el culantro?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Hay muchas formas de almacenarlo. Primero, si quieres usarlo dentro de dos semanas, simplemente col\u00f3calo en un frasco con agua, c\u00fabrelo con una bolsa y gu\u00e1rdalo en la nevera. Tambi\u00e9n puedes licuarlo con aceite y durar\u00e1 m\u00e1s en \u00e9l.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1713366488746\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">\u00bfPuedo congelar el recao?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">Primero, seca las hojas y gu\u00e1rdalas en una bolsa para congelador en el congelador por no m\u00e1s de 1 mes. Suelen perder potencia cuanto m\u00e1s los dejas all\u00ed. Por eso no recomiendo un tiempo de congelaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s prolongado.
