Los tostones son pl\u00e1tanos verdes que se cortan, se fr\u00eden, se aplastan en discos planos y luego se fr\u00eden nuevamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Son uno de los acompa\u00f1amientos m\u00e1s populares para acompa\u00f1ar cualquier <em>comida puertorrique\u00f1a <\/em>y casi siempre se sirven con <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/mayoketchup\/\">salsa mayo ketchup<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yo como buena puertorrique\u00f1a, como tostones casi todos los d\u00edas con mis comidas o como bocadillo. Esto se debe a que los amarillos son dulces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sal-<\/strong> la uso para condimentar, pero a veces agrego \u00bc de cucharadita de ajo en polvo. Levante con cuidado la piel. C\u00f3rtelos en c\u00edrculos de 1 pulgada. Si bien no es dif\u00edcil, existen <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/aprende-como-pelar-platanos-facilmente\/\">consejos y trucos para pelar un pl\u00e1tano<\/a><strong> <\/strong>m\u00e1s f\u00e1cilmente.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 2: <\/strong>Fre\u00edr a fuego medio durante 6 minutos o 3 por cada lado. Si es la primera vez que haces esto y no est\u00e1s seguro de si tus c\u00edrculos de pl\u00e1tano est\u00e1n listos para ser aplastados. Puedes usar una tostonera. Yo utilizo cualquier plato grueso que tenga para asegurarme de que no se rompa. Pero puedes utilizar una taza o cualquier plato con superficie plana.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 4:<\/strong> Fr\u00ede por \u00faltima vez para darle a tus Tostones ese lindo color dorado. Se ver\u00e1n diferentes pero sabr\u00e1n igual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Es muy importante que si vas a cocinar tostones congelado lo hagas por tandas. Los pl\u00e1tanos finalmente llegaron al Caribe y Am\u00e9rica Latina gracias a los colonizadores europeos que trajeron barcos llenos de esclavos y pl\u00e1tanos para alimentarlos. Como ves, tal vez los Tostones fueron creados por africanos.<\/p> <\/div> <div class=\"schema-faq-section\" id=\"faq-question-1713383546763\"><strong class=\"schema-faq-question\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo elegir el pl\u00e1tano adecuado para tostones?<\/strong> <p class=\"schema-faq-answer\">En primer lugar, es fundamental no confundir pl\u00e1tanos con guineos. La diferencia entre los dos es que los pl\u00e1tanos tienden a ser m\u00e1s grandes y con una piel m\u00e1s gruesa. Si los cortas notar\u00e1s que los pl\u00e1tanos tienen m\u00e1s almid\u00f3n que los pl\u00e1tanos normales. Una vez que est\u00e9n lo suficientemente fr\u00edos, transfi\u00e9ralos a un recipiente herm\u00e9tico o a una bolsa para congelador para guardarlos. En el congelador, los Tostones pueden durar 3 meses. Cuando est\u00e9 listo para cocinarlos, no es necesario descongelarlos.
