Suele elaborarse con arroz y se puede hacer con diferentes tipos de carnes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta receta de Asopao est\u00e1 hecha con la base puertorrique\u00f1a de <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/sofrito\/\">sofrito puertorrique\u00f1o casero<\/a> y la <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/sazon\/\">receta saz\u00f3n<\/a>. Muy similar al Asopao dominicano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta sopa se prepara com\u00fanmente en Puerto Rico en los d\u00edas lluviosos y los pocos d\u00edas fr\u00edos que podemos tener en un a\u00f1o. Pero en la mayor\u00eda de los hogares, incluido el m\u00edo, esta sopa se preparaba la ma\u00f1ana de A\u00f1o Nuevo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Me gusta hacerlo y agregarle unas <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/bolitas-de-platano\/\">bollitas de pl\u00e1tano<\/a>. O haz unos <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/aranitas-de-platano\/\">aranitas de pl\u00e1tano<\/a> a un lado. Si te gusta un caldo m\u00e1s liquido, puedes agregar m\u00e1s agua. Yo uso aceite para sofreir pero tambi\u00e9n puedes usar mantequilla.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Camarones-<\/strong> Utilic\u00e9 1 libra de camarones limpios y pelados que vienen congelados, pero puedes usarlos frescos si los tienes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cebolla y pimiento verde-<\/strong> Us\u00e9 1 cebolla y 1 pimiento entero. La mitad para hacer el caldo y la otra mitad para la sopa. Puedes sustituir el pimiento por un pimiento de cocinar (cubanelle).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pasta de ajo-<\/strong> Us\u00e9 pasta de ajo pero puedes usar ajo fresco. Necesitar\u00e1s unas 4 o 5 dependiendo de su tama\u00f1o.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sofrito- <\/strong>Yo us\u00e9 \u00bd taza. Este es imprescindible para darle ese sabor a asopao y ese sabor boricua.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Salsa de Tomate-<\/strong> En esta receta se usa salsa de tomate pero puedes usar \u00bc de taza de pasta de tomate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Condimentos-<\/strong> Se necesita pocos condimentos. El tama\u00f1o no importa mucho porque la mayor parte se hablanda y no se nota. Ahora puedes cortar cualquier otra verdura que quieras agregar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 2:<\/strong> Retira la cola de los camarones y aseg\u00farate de que est\u00e9n limpios. Este ser\u00e1 tiempo suficiente porque se volver\u00e1n a agregar a la sopa para terminar de cocinarse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 4: <\/strong>Ahora a\u00f1ade los vegetales y sofrie durante 4 minutos. Luego agrega la salsa de tomate, el sofrito y las colas de camar\u00f3n. Agrega la mitad del agua y m\u00e9zcla. As\u00ed se prepara el caldo. Despu\u00e9s, agregas los condimentos, el ajo y el sofrito restante y la salsa de tomate. Debes cocinar esto durante 2 minutos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Foto 6:<\/strong> Agrega tu caldo de camarones y el resto del agua. Si te gusta m\u00e1s espeso no tienes m\u00e1s que cocinarlo unos minutos m\u00e1s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Al recalentar siempre me gusta agregar al menos \u00bd taza de agua para que no se seque demasiado.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Siempre recomiendo comerse un asopao con un <em>canto<\/em> grande de <a href=\"https:\/\/foodmetamorphosis.com\/es\/receta-de-pan-de-manteca-puertorriqueno\/\">suave pan de manteca<\/a> o cualquier pan que tengas por ah\u00ed para mojar en el caldo. Esto es m\u00e1s una cuesti\u00f3n de conveniencia. Pero hacer el caldo en casa es muy f\u00e1cil de hacer. Ambos tienen buenas razones para ser utilizados. Si decides comprar camarones enteros tendr\u00e1s m\u00e1s partes del camarones para el caldo. Esto le dar\u00e1 a la sopa un sabor m\u00e1s parecido a los camarones. Pero por otro lado tendr\u00e1s que limpiarlo.
