- oil - carrots & potatoes - stew meat - salt - sofrito - tomato sauce - beer - bay leaves - water - white vinegar - garlic & onion powder - sazon

Ingredients

step 1

First, cut the carrots to about 1/4 of an inch thick. Cube the potatoes to about 1 inch thick.

Cube the meat to 1 1/2 inches thick. You can get meat that is pre-cut in the supermarket. Season with salt.

In a big pot add oil and sear the meat for 8 minutes. Make sure to stir a couple of times.

Add your tomato sauce, sofrito and cook for 1 minute. Then add the beer and cook for 6 minutes.

Add half of the vegetables, water, and seasonings. Cook for 30 minutes over high heat. Stir occasionally.

Add more water, the rest of the vegetables, and vinegar. Finish cooking for 30 minutes on medium-high heat.
