- garlic - onion - pumpkin - carrots - chicken stock - heavy cream - seasonings

The first step is to peel and cut your pumpkin. Luckily you can skip this step if you are using canned pumpkin.

In one tablespoon of oil, saute your onion and garlic for 2 minutes. This will add more flavor to the soup.

Add the pumpkin, carrots, and seasonings. Add the stock and cook this for 8 minutes with the lid on.

Puree the soup. Use a hand blender or a regular blender. You can blend it until smooth or leave it more chunky.

Now add the heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes. This will help to thicken your soup.
