step 1

First, cut the carrots to about 1/4 of an inch thick. Cube the potatoes to about 1 inch thick.

Cube the meat to 1 1/2 inches thick. You can get meat that is pre-cut in the supermarket. Season with salt.

Now in a big pot add oil and sear the meat for 8 minutes. Make sure to stir a couple of times to avoid burning.

Add your tomato sauce, sofrito and cook for 1 minute. Then add the beer and cook for 6 minutes.

Add half of the potatoes and half of the carrots. Add your water and cook for 30 minutes.

Add the rest of the water, vinegar, carrots and potatoes. Also, add your seasoning and finish cooking for 30 minutes.
