Take 2 garlic cloves and grate them to make a paste and set aside. Mince the rest of the garlic and save for later.
Pat dry the chicken wings and add them to a large bowl. Add the salt, pepper, onion powder, paprika and garlic paste. Mix it well until all the chicken wings are fully seasoned.
Place the chicken in a baking tray with a rack. Cook for 20 minutes. Then flip the wings and cook for 20 minutes.
When your chicken wings have about 2 minutes left in the oven, start making your garlic butter sauce. In a small pan add your butter and minced garlic over medium heat. Cook for 2 minutes and constantly stir.
Once the wings are done, place them in a large bowl and pour your garlic sauce over them. Toss the chicken around to make sure all the chicken is coated with the sauce. Serve and enjoy.

Notes
1. To dry your wings you can dry them with a paper towel and you can also air dry them in your fridge a couple of hours in advance of making them.2. For extra crispy wings, broil for 2-5 minutes. But keep an eye on the wings because they get brown fast.3. If you really love garlic, you can add more to the butter. Since the garlic is cooked it won't have a very strong garlicky taste.
