Even better than a chocolate ice cream is this Limber de Nutella! This is a Puerto Rican Frozen Nutella cup that you make with only 4 ingredients!

Today I’ll show you how to make a Limber de Nutella. The perfect frozen snack on a hot summer day!

This is a chocolaty treat made in Puerto Rico that we eat year round. It is as smooth as the Nutella, creamy and soft. Not too sweet, but it is delicious!

This limber is one of the many creamy variations we make like the sweet cheese limber, the tropical coconut limber, or the peanut butter limber.

Or my very favorite, the cheesecake limber flavor.

    Why This Recipe Works

    • This is a great recipe to make ahead and serve for parties or family gatherings.
    • A great recipe to make with kids because of how easy it is to make.

    Recipe Ingredients

all the ingredients needed to make a limber de nutella.
    • Evaporated milk- I use any evaporated milk I find, for this specific ingredient any brand will do.
    • Condensed milk- Some people use sugar instead of condensed milk. I like to use condensed milk because of the specific flavor it gives the recipe. Plus it has the perfect sweetness for the limber.
    • Milk- When making this recipe I like to use milk and not water to maintain a creamy consistency.
    • Nutella- The Nutella is the star ingredient here. Don’t be tempted to add more of what the recipe suggests because it will be hard for your limber to set.

How to Make Limber de Nutella

    • Step 1: Put all your ingredients into a blender. Mix everything for 2 minutes or until you see that all the ingredients are mixed well. You can also mix everything by hand.
    • Step 2: Serve the mix in disposable cups. Freeze for at least 10 hours.

    Recipe Tips

    • You can make this recipe and use popsicle molds.
    • Always cover the limber to avoid them from getting any freezer taste. You can use cups that already come with lids, foil, or plastic wrap.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add any toppings to a limber?

You can add any toppings you like like cookies, chocolate, or nut pieces. Some people even add cake pieces or fruits.

Can I use almond milk for regular milk to make limber?

You can always use almond milk for regular milk. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that it will slightly change the flavor of the recipe. So if you don’t mind the taste, go ahead.
