Have you ever tried a Limber de Mani? It is one of the popular flavors in Puerto Rico.

a limber de mani on a wood surface.

A limber de Mani has to be in the top 5 popular limbers made in Puerto Rico.

When done right, it is a limber as smooth as butter. It has the perfect balance of sweetness and peanut butter flavor.

If you love creamy limber like this recipe then try the coconut milk limber, cheese flavor limber, or the chocolaty Nutella limber.

Or one of my favorites, the creamy cheesecake flavor limber.

    Why This Recipe Works

    • This recipe will taste just like the limbers made in Puerto Rico!
    • It is a recipe that is not only easy to make but cost-effective as well.

    Recipe Ingredients

all the ingredients needed to make puerto rican limber de mani or frozen peanut butter cups.
    • Evaporated milk- Some people only use milk but I always like to also use evaporated milk because it gives the recipe a specific flavor that goes well with peanut butter.
    • Condensed milk- The condensed milk is responsible for the sweetness in the recipe.
    • Milk- While you can use water, I like using milk to help the limber be as creamy as possible.
    • Peanut butter- With just a little peanut butter, you will get a lot of flavor.

How to Make Limber de Mani

    • Step 1: Add all your ingredients to a blender and mix. Make sure that the peanut butter is well incorporated. You can also do this by hand it just will take a little longer.
    • Step 2: Serve in cups or your preferred mold. Freeze for 10 hours or until the limbers are completely hard.

    Recipe Tips

    • If you want your limber to have a crunchy texture you can add crushed peanuts.
    • Avoid your limbers getting a freezer taste by covering them with plastic wrap, and foil or by using cups with lids.

Hi Joy, I have never tried it without the condensed milk. But I can tell you that the condensed milk has a very specific taste which it wont have if you just use regular sugar. Thank you for the visit!

Can I use cane sugar if I don’t have condensed milk? If yes, how much?
