Have you ever heard about the Pineapple Lemonade? It is one of the many lemonade flavors you can make. This is the perfect drink on a hot day!

The Pineapple Lemonade is the perfect summer drink because it is perfectly balanced. It is sweet, but not too much, and it is also tart, but not too much.
This lemonade was made with canned pineapple, but you can use the fresh fruit if you have some. I also used lime instead of lemons. In this recipe, you can use either one.

Why This Recipe Works
- You can make this with fresh or frozen pineapple that you’ll be able to find in most supermarkets.
- You can even make this as a frozen pineapple lemonade drink.
Recipe Ingredients

- Pineapple- I used a good-quality canned pineapple because that’s all I had. I used the pineapple that comes sliced, but you can also use the ones that come in chunks. You can use fresh pineapple as well.
- Lemons or limes- I used lime juice, not lemon juice, but either one is fine for this recipe. Whenever possible, try to use fresh lemons or limes.
- Sugar- The sugar is needed because the pineapple is not sweet enough to balance out the tartness from the juice. You can also use honey as a sweetener. If you are trying to cut on sugar, try it without and add to taste.
- Water- I always use water to dilute the lemonade. If you use canned pineapple, you can use the juice it comes with instead of water. Or just use pineapple juice.
How to Make A Pineapple Lemonade
- Step 1: Add everything into a blender and blend for 1 minute or until all the pineapple is crushed. You can freeze your pineapple if you want this to have a smoothie consistency and be colder.
Recipe Tips
- This drink will have a chunky mouthfeel because of the pineapple. If you like a smooth drink, strain the lemonade before serving.
- You can add ice and make a frozen pineapple lemonade.

Pineapple Lemonade
Ingredients
- 5 ounces pineapple (142g)
- 2 ounces lime juice (59ml)
- 1 cup water (237ml)
- ¼ cup sugar (54g)
Instructions
- In a blender, add the lime juice, pineapple, sugar, and water. Blend for 1 minute. Chill in the fridge until ready to serve. Serve over ice and enjoy.

- This recipe will have the texture of the crushed pineapple. You can strain the juice if you don’t like it.
